fnatic defeat Renegades; advance to DH Marseille playoffs

fnatic have booked their spot in the DreamHack Masters Marseille playoffs after defeating Renegades 2-0 in Group C's decider match.
Starting out the clash as Terrorists on their map pick, Mirage, Renegades secured a three-round lead after winning the first pistol with a flawless A execution. The Australian side then looked set to follow that up with the first gun round, but a 2v3 clutch from Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist marked the beginning of an impressive run from the Swedes.
In fact, except for the 12th round when, they nearly pulled off a win on a shoddy CZ buy, Renegades were only able to break through fnatic's defence in the final two rounds of the half, reducing the deficit to five before switching sides.
In the second half, Maikil "Golden" Selim played a key role in his team's pistol round win as he found three opponents in a 2v4 situation. fnatic then strolled to a 14-5 lead, but that was when Renegades came back to life.
Renegades tightened up their defence and went on a massive seven-round winning streak to reach 12 rounds. It was only then that fnatic managed to hit map-point, but they saw their economy get reset after losing the next round. Still, with nothing but CZs, JW and Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson clutched a 2v3 situation to close out the map.
Cobblestone, fnatic's map pick, kicked off with Renegades winning their CT pistol thanks to a triple and a double-kill from Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad and Justin "jks" Savage, respectively. After following that up with the anti-ecos, Renegades further added to their lead by taking the next two rounds.
With their economy back on track, fnatic started racking up rounds to bring the deficit to a sole round. Renegades still picked up a round, but the Swedes would not let go off the gas and closed out the half with a 9-6 lead.
In the second half, KRIMZ won the pistol round for his team after keeping jks from clutching a 1v2 situation. After getting their seventh round on the board in a third-round buy, Renegades were handed a heavy blow as they got immediately reset, with fnatic grabbing control of action to seal a clean 2-0 win.
