G2 eliminate Luminosity at ECS

G2 have sent Luminosity home in last place of ECS Season 5 Finals with a 2-0 victory (Overpass 16-9, Cache 16-11) in Group B's elimination match.
Luminosity chose to kick off the series on Overpass, where G2 kicked things off with a 3-0 lead on the back of Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans's triple in the pistol round. The first gunrounds went the way of the Brazilians, who fended off a couple of A attacks, courtesy of Gustavo "yel" Knittel's AWP play.
From there on, G2 composed themselves and began racking up a substantial lead. Luminosity were only able to add one more round to their tally after a close retake scenario on A, as the Frenchmen switched over to CTs at 11-4.
yel's squad lowered the deficit to just two rounds following the second pistol round and one gunround, in which the AWPer clutched a 1v1. That turned out to be all they could do in the match, as G2 regained control and swept their opponents with five rounds in a row for a 16-9 victory.

G2 started off well yet again on Cache with a 5-1 lead on the Counter-Terrorist side. Luminosity quickly evened things out as Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves turned things around with two key doubles on A in a row before yel clutched a 1v2 to make it 5-5.
Nonetheless, Ex6TenZ's men went on to close out the half with 10 rounds to their names, with Richard "shox" Papillon, Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux, and Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro each putting in key multikills.
Once SmithZz grabbed his second triple of the map in the second pistol round, G2 were looking to quickly close things out, but they couldn't penetrate the defense in the gunrounds. Luminosity put up a solid defense to close the gap to 13-11, but it wasn't enough in the end. Ex6TenZ turned the tide with a 1v2 clutch on B, helping G2 get over the finish line at 16-11, 2-0.
